adS/CFT quantum gravity- a teaching tool?

In a theory of spacetime that precludes gravity, there is the ads/CFT quantum gravity model. It is designed to postulate if there is a lower dimensional reality to the planck length, or something under it, or use it as an illustration purpose, like in a mechanical/elementary model.

Is it true that the planck length matters when we look at a model of quantum gravity at all? After all, when black holes merge into infinities in Quantum field theory, it must outpour somewhere. Does studying a planck length's "underbouroughs" lead to Newtonian models of planck length and spacetime geometry? Does a CFT model become useful like the pendeleum, isolated in a model where rocket cars propel, like in Newtonian physics?

Consciousness as a power to influence spacetime

Why not bring the mind bending powers of the mind itself, a consciousness and our background, our traditions into the mix of understanding spacetime geometry?

If it's true that we have quantum computers now that can accomplish 10^17 computational power of standard tasks, does that mean it has consciousness?
